As long as it distracts me from doing actual real work then I’m open to all suggestions.

“The Americans” is a great show about Russian spies passing as an American couple in 1980s America. It recently wrapped it’s first season.

“The Killing” is the American remake of a Danish crime drama, Forbydelsen. The first 2 seasons are melancholy but riveting drama. Strangely enough if you love rain and mist you’ll yearn to visit its Seattle setting. The third will begin next month.

I know more but I don’t have time and all in all these should be 37+ eps.

You probably saw the news last week that the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch said that plus-size people aren’t cool enough to wear his clothes. He argued that plus-sized people would tarnish their brand. Even worse, Abercrombie…

This reminds of when I first started working at Hollister Co. (A branch of Abercrombie and Fitch Co. for those that didn’t know.), my hiring manager told me that there will be times when “a person that obviously can’t wear our clothes” will walk into our store. I was pretty much told to ask them if they needed anything and leave them be because I could “only service them so much”. Other customers however, were to be greeted and given the “full” customer service treatment. “Would you like some California in a bottle?” and all. Disgusting? Yes. So I completely support this guy’s idea.

Thanks for being honest about your experience working for this company. Their preoccupation with body size sickens me. As someone who was underweight at one point in my life and who is now a bit overweight, I find this approach highly offensive. This actually makes me feel like crap. Underweight or over weight, I am still the same exact person. My value as a person didn’t change when the number on the scale increased. I’m sorry to hear that they made you treat prospective customers like that. Clothes from Abercrombie were never my style, nor will they ever be.
